The following are the operations that can be performed from Patch Group views :
In order to find which systems are missing patches from the group, or in which systems patches are available; select the desired patches from the list and click on the "Deploy" button. This will display a screen wherein you will be able to deploy a patch to multiple systems (1 patch to many systems) and any number of selected patches to multiple systems (many patches to many systems), by choosing from the . Note that this list is based on the latest scan results in PatchQuest.

To deploy patches in a group to system groups or to deploy entire patch groups to system groups, refer to Deploying Patch Groups section.
Patches can be selected and checked if they are applicable to a 'particular' system. Select a patch or a set of patches from a chosen group and click on the Pick Host button.
From here you can select host or hosts based on a particular system name, IP address, Mode of operation (remote or agent), Operating system or version that you specify as the selection criterion. Upon selection, the set of patches selected will be verified if they are applicable of the select hosts, and then missing patches can be deployed.
To download the patches in the group (if they are not already available in the PatchQuest server), select the patches of interest and click on the "Download" button. For more information, refer to Downloading Patches section.
Patches in an existing patch group can be included in other patches. For more information, refer to Option 2 in the Adding patches section.
In order to delete patches from a particular group, select the patches and click on the 'Delete from group' button.
The Patch Group view is similar in most aspects to the Patch Information view. Information like New patches in the group, Obsolete patches in the group, Information items in this group, Patch details, Bulletin Information, Patch History, Patch Schedules etc. can be accessed from here.
