Proxy server and Mail server parameters are very essential system settings that you must effect, before performing patch management operations. Login to the web interface and visit the Settings tab to configure these parameters.
Proxy server parameters are required to enable download of patches from the internet and to keep the vulnerability database in sync. Refer to the 'Setting Proxy' section for more details.
Mail server parameters are required to enable e-mail sending functionality. Refer to 'Configuring Mail Server' section for more details.
