Service Pack History

Patch management tasks - Service Pack Install and Service Pack Download - that have been performed over time for a service pack, constitute the historical information for that service pack.

To view Service Pack History for a service pack,

• Visit any of these views :
  • Service Pack Info view from Patch Information tab 
  • Scan Result view for any system
• From the service pack list in the table, click on the service pack history icon in the Views column, for any service pack

In this view, you can view what patch management task has been performed at what time, its status and associated remarks on task completion. If there is no historical information for a service pack, the icon will be grayed out .

The Task ID to each of the tasks is a link which will lead to the Task Audit Report of that particular task. 

Service Pack History Graphs

The service pack history reports are enriched graphically with pie-charts and bar graphs. The graphs displayed in this report are :

• Task Type Count Graph - this is a bar graph displaying the different tasks (SP Install and SP Download) carried out on this service pack; and their respective counts.
• Task Status Count Graph - this is a pie-chart displaying status of each task (success, failed or currently running)

Each parameter on these graphs is a link, on clicking which you will be led a corresponding task list in the table view down below the graphs.

Export and E-mail

You can export this report to any of these formats namely : pdf, html and xls. Click on the 'Export' link on the top of the screen to view the reports in an export-format of your choice.

Reports can be viewed and saved in a particular export format or they can be e-mailed to an address. Click on the 'E-mail' link and select the format which needs to be e-mailed, along with the e-mail ID and a custom message.
